EXHIBITOR setup
FRIDAY: EARLY SETUP
Begins at 3:00 pm and runs until 7:00 pm. We will close the facility promptly at 7:00.
This 4-hour block of time is useful for bringing in bulk items, setting up displays, and getting the heavy lifting out of the way.
SATURDAY MORNING SETUP
We will open the garage door for load-in promptly at 7:30 am. This gives exhibitors 2.5 hours to load in and get fully set up before the doors open to the public at 10:00 am.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please plan more time than you think you will need. We will be closing the garage door at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, whether you are in or not. At that point, you will have to load in through a side door.
SIDE DOORS
I understand that many people use the side doors as a place to smoke. This is OK, but we do not want attendees using those doors for entry, and want them locked when the smoking area is not in use. Please help us with this.
EXHIBITOR CHECK-IN
Exhibitors must check in with the show before beginning to unload their vehicles. This process is done by entering Building #21 through the garage door on the East side of the building. Once checked in, exhibitors may park as close to the garage door as safely permits. We ask that you unload as quickly as possible, and then move your vehicle.
EXHIBITOR LOAD-IN
Please be courteous with other exhibitors when moving in and out of the hall. Don’t block the garage door, and please leave room for dollies and hand trucks with heavy stuff to get in and out.
EXHIBITOR PARKING
FRIDAY – after check-in, exhibitors may park in the main lot, south of the building.
SATURDAY – after check-in, exhibitors MUST park on the road that stretches to the east from the garage door. DO NOT park in the main parking lot! We want to leave that for paying attendees.
WRISTBANDS
We allot as many as 2 wristbands per booth or table. We will give you as many as you need up to that amount. [Example: you have 2 wall tables, which entitles you to 4 wristbands.] Additional wristbands can be purchased at time of check-in for $5 each.
LOAD OUT
Load out will begin at 4:00 when we open the garage door, and will continue until everyone has left the building.
SHOW LOCATION
Building #21 is located at 2110 Harper St, in Lawrence. If coming from KC, it is easiest to take K-10 and get off at the 23rd Street exit. The button below will take you to a google map, and from there you can get directions.
FOOD AND DRINK
All exhibitors may bring their own lunch food and drink. Exhibitors may NOT bring food to sell as a part of the merchandise at their booth. The food vendor for this show is the roller derby team Capital City Crushers, and they will be offering INDIAN TACOS and more.
